Good
site.
I love your blog! I will definitely have to try some of the recipes you've posted (especially that saffron risotto!)
Hej, I just read your post about hákarl and, as I linked it in one of my comments to my own blog, I thought I could leave you a quick note. A friend of us, who happens to be a translator who spent his honeymoon in Iceland and managed to study some Icelandic before leaving, was telling me about the shark-eaters... so we were wondering about this culinary tradition. Well, your post convinced me... never to try it! ;-) All the best, Giusi
I have traveled a few times to Iceland and was able to try quite a bit of their local cuisine. It was great great! Lynsey, if you ever need somebody to plan your trip, try: www.iceland-experience.com. They will definitely help you out.
the bouillabaisse came out fantastic last night. I served it with Cloudy Bay Chardonnay - most facinating chardonnay, I really liked it.
b.t.w. readers, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc is a great match with gastrosharks' Risotto.
Ég er búinn að skoða síðuna þína nokkrum sinnum og mér þykir umfjöllunin um vín mjög góð. Það væri gaman að sjá fleiri umfjallanir um íslenska veitingastaði. Ég hlakka til að lesa meira.
Hey du scharfe Haifisch!
Great website, will be looking up holiday options for a visit sometime soon with any luck..
Gros bisous xx
I tried the Cod & Sweet Potato Stew and the Saffron Risotto and they were both delicious!!
takk fyrir
Dear GastroShark,
Thank you so much for your wine recommendations for the meeting of the Blue Plaques Panel of English Heritage. I went for the Condrieu Guigal and the d'Arenberg Ironstone pressings in the end, and both were very well received! Hurrah for the Gastro Shark!
Thank you very much indeed. I don't know what I'd have done without you!
Best wishes,
Libby Wardle
Great website...would love to see expanded section on information outside of iceland - holidays where good and wine is great and not expensive.
any chance of doing something for Spain? We and our friends go there for holidays.
Nice Website
Kære Christopher
Flot hjemmeside.
Hello Chris
Job well done! This one has been bookmarked.
Sjáumst, þinn vinnufélagi Svenni
Well, hello there, my dear Sharkmeister, this is a wonderful website, I might try out some naughty chocolate pudding tonight! I hope you have a good stay in London and get even more ideas for the website. I will also try out the restaurant "Little Bay" that you and Kea recommended last night.
I also hope you will join me with a blow-up shark at my beach party in the summer.

This is fab! Glad you're enjoying Iceland. I'll pass on the Hákarl if that's ok... :op
Looking good gastro shark!
see you friday
hi Chris! Great site....keep on adding !
Another "Tea" site in London to consider is BROWN's..check it out ! We were there in january with Robert & the band from Sweden ~ he alway's goes there when in town so my thinking is that other " northerners" will probably love it too ! We certainly did !
see you soon !
Great initiative. Being a gourmet in Iceland without bankrupting yourself requires shrewdness and resourcefulness, which you clearly have in abundance. Keep up the good work sharing the hints&tricks with the rest of us!
keep up the good work Sharky!
